An regional training course titled "Artificial Intelligence in Electoral Management" was launched in Amman, organized by the Independent Election Commission in collaboration with the United Nations Development Programme and supported by the Swedish Agency. The program, which lasts three days, involves officials and experts from Tunisia, Palestine, Libya, Iraq, and Mexico, focusing on how to leverage artificial intelligence to improve electoral processes. Officials emphasized that artificial intelligence can enhance data analysis, support planning and decision-making, and develop voter services, while highlighting the importance of data protection and privacy, ensuring transparency, and building trust in the electoral process. This initiative aligns with Jordan's efforts toward digital transformation and aims to strengthen electoral administrations' readiness to face technological challenges in a responsible and transparent manner.
