Israeli Report of Clash with Hamas South of Gaza
Israeli media sources have revealed that Hamas has seized Israeli engineering equipment south of the Gaza Strip, including pipes and drilling devices used in tunnel construction. Security estimates suggest that this equipment may later be used to carry out attacks against Israeli forces. The incident, which was the second within two weeks, occurred when militants approached equipment operated by the army, stole part of it, and then returned to Gaza. It is believed that the goal of capturing the pipes is to use them in the manufacturing of explosive devices or to prepare them for attacks. There has been hesitation among Israeli forces to act swiftly against such practices, raising questions about the restrictions on the use of force in the sector.
