The Jordanian Parliament approved two laws: one to abolish the Civil Consumer Corporation Law of 2026, and the other to regulate professional work for the same year. Theabolition preserves workers' rights and protects their interests, while the regulation focuses on organizing the professional and technical labor market through conditions that include issuing practice certificates for graduates, licensing training providers, and overseeing training programs and trainers by the Ministry of Labor. The law aims to enhance oversight and regulation in the professional sector to ensure a motivating work environment, with amendments allowing individuals with prior experience to obtain a practice license without exams, according to a system to be issued for this purpose.
