The Jordanian Ministry of Labor has announced the start of intensive inspection campaigns to detect and control illegal employment before the deadline for regularizing the status of expatriate workers on September 30th. The ministry's spokesperson confirmed that any violating worker will be deported in accordance with established procedures, and that a payment of 5,000 dinars is required to cancel the deportation after the regularization period ends. There are no plans to extend the deadline or to alter the financial exemptions. Additionally, the ministry continues to review files related to recruiting workers from new countries, evaluating the quality of the workforce and its suitability for the Jordanian market.
