The Ministry of Education launched a safe and free school transportation project in the Qatrana area as a pilot phase, aimed at improving students' access to schools and providing modern transportation equipped with electronic tracking systems and surveillance cameras, in collaboration with the private sector. Approximately 10,000 students and teachers will benefit from the project, as the free buses will offer a safe transportation service connected to an application that allows parents to monitor their children. The project seeks to enhance safety and improve student attendance, with the results of the first phase to be evaluated in order to pave the way for expanding the initiative to other regions within the kingdom.
