Sofi Adino, the French astronaut, became the first French woman to perform a spacewalk outside the International Space Station. The mission lasted approximately six and a half hours and focused on replacing a communications antenna between the station and Earth. This mission is a historic milestone for France, as it is the first of its kind for a French woman. It is part of European astronauts' efforts to carry out extravehicular activities outside the station. The mission was delayed from August 13 due to an issue with a carbon dioxide sensor in one of the astronaut's suits, but was carried out after ensuring the safety of the equipment. It is the 282nd spacewalk in the history of the International Space Station.
