The Council of Ministers has approved the establishment of a factory for steel pipe manufacturing and insulation in Jordan, aimed at supporting the National Water Carrier Project. Fifty percent of its production will be dedicated to this project. The factory will include two sections for pipe manufacturing and insulation, with a capital of 120 million dinars, and is expected to create approximately 420 jobs for Jordanians. The factory will contribute to meeting both local and international demand for high-quality pipes, support the manufacturing sector, and strengthen international partnerships. Additionally, the council approved adding an organ donation service to the Sind App to promote community participation in donations, and preparations are underway for the upcoming Population and Housing Census in 2026. This effort aims to collect up-to-date, detailed data to improve planning and services.
