Israeli arrests in West Bank towns
Early this morning, Israeli occupation forces launched a widespread campaign of raids and arrests across several areas in the West Bank and Jerusalem. The operations included Jenin, Nablus, Hebron, Tubas, and Jericho, resulting in the detention of numerous Palestinians, among them children and women. During these raids, homes were stormed, checkpoints were established, and gunfire was exchanged at some points. This campaign comes as part of an escalation in arrest and invasion operations, with prisoner advocacy groups documenting 503 arrests in August alone. The number of Palestinian prisoners now exceeds 9,400, including about 370 children and 92 women, in addition to over 3,000 administrative detainees.
