The activities of the third Jordanian International Forum on Chemical Process Safety kicked off at the Royal Cultural Center. Organized by the Society of Process Safety Engineers, the event aims to promote a culture of safety and best practices in industrial risk management. The forum seeks to discuss safety management systems, risk assessment, change management, and accident analysis, with the goal of enhancing the protection of workers, facilities, and the environment. Participants emphasized that safety is a fundamental element for ensuring the sustainability of the industry, and that investment in safety contributes to protecting human lives, maintaining production continuity, and increasing industrial competitiveness—especially in light of the royal directives to develop the national economy. The forum will last for four days and features experts from the United States, Europe, and the Arab world, who will discuss critical topics related to combating industrial accidents and achieving the highest safety standards.
