On Sunday evening, the Grand Mosque experienced heavy rainfall coinciding with Maghrib prayer. The Saudi "Al-Ikhbariya" channel documented scenes showing the sky filled with dark clouds and intense rain affecting the area, while worshippers continued to perform their prayers under the rainy conditions. The National Center of Meteorology in Saudi Arabia reported that the weather was accompanied by downdrafts, hail, rising waves, and flowing floods. Warnings were issued for ongoing thunderstorms until Monday, which Saudi Arabia considers "good rains."
