Prime Minister Dr. Jafar Hassan has directed the expansion of the free school transportation project in the southern desert regions to include an additional 3,500 male and female students, bringing the total number of beneficiaries to 12,500 students and approximately 900 teachers. This expansion will begin with the second semester. This decision follows a government evaluation of the first phase, which served 9,000 students through 120 buses in 61 schools, with the aim of addressing transportation challenges and reducing the burdens on students and their families. The expansion includes the implementation of a smart application to monitor students' transportation electronically, along with plans to extend this initiative to other areas of the kingdom.
