Prime Minister Dr. Jafar Hassan announced the expansion of the free school transportation project in the southern desert areas to include an additional 3,500 students, bringing the total number of beneficiaries to 12,500 students along with approximately 900 teachers. This decision follows a positive evaluation of the first phase, which helped improve transportation services and alleviated burdens on students and parents. The first phase covered 61 schools and 120 buses. It is expected that a smart application will be launched later to monitor students' transportation through advanced tracking systems, along with a plan to extend this initiative to central and northern regions of the kingdom.
