Amanah Amman to assist Jordanian smokers
Amman Municipality is working on launching a plan from 2026 to 2028 aimed at promoting a smoke-free environment in the city. The plan includes the use of smart electronic monitoring systems to oversee violations and awareness campaigns in parks and schools. Since the beginning of 2026, more than 25,000 people have benefited from awareness programs, and 639 training sessions have been conducted.
