Public Security Starts Vehicle Verification Campaign
The Public Security Directorate has launched a national campaign to inspect vehicle validity in preparation for winter, aiming to enhance vehicle technical safety and reduce traffic accidents. The campaign includes inspecting safety components such as tires, lighting, glass, and heating systems, with a one-week grace period granted to fix any safety-related issues without issuing fines. Quick technical inspection centers (Drive Thru) are also available to facilitate the process. The campaign encourages drivers and institutions to undertake preventive maintenance to ensure vehicle readiness, emphasizing that safety begins with the vehicle and responsible driver awareness.
