Afternoon atmospheric instability worsens with flood alerts
The article highlights the ongoing unstable weather condition in the Kingdom, with sporadic showers falling in the eastern and southern regions. There is a possibility of flooding in valleys and low-lying areas, accompanied by lightning, thunder, and hail. The intensity of rainfall increases during the afternoon periods, along with active southeastern wind gusts that may kick up dust and reduce visibility, especially in desert and desert road areas. The Meteorological Department warns of the dangers of floods, thunderstorms, and reduced visibility due to dust and fog, emphasizing the need for caution to prevent slipping on wet roads. The impact of this weather pattern extends until Monday, with occasional heavy showers expected. The weather is forecasted to shift to a mild autumnal climate on Tuesday and Wednesday, with some clouds and no severe rainfall. Temperatures today range between 14 and 37 degrees Celsius depending on the region, and citizens are advised to take safety precautions, especially in high-risk areas.
