Lawyer files complaint over Elham Shaheen's comments
The article discusses actress Ilham Shahine's statements regarding the play "The Virtuous Prostitute," which she intended to stage, and the controversy surrounding the show's title and content following her announcement. She explained that the play had previously been performed by the late actress Samihah Ayoub in the 1960s, and that the word "prostitute" is from classical Arabic vocabulary. She also revealed her remorse over her disagreement with the late director Mohamed Khan before filming the movie "Hind and Kamelia's Dreams," and she expressed her apologies to him. She clarified that the disagreement was due to her insistence on traveling and her inability to meet his requests for her during the filming.
