A coalition forces report intercepts and destroys a missile launch platform used by the Houthis in Yemen to fire rockets toward Riyadh. The coalition spokesperson announced that the ballistic missile launched at Riyadh was successfully intercepted and destroyed. This comes amid a series of repeated attacks by the Houthis against Saudi Arabia, including assaults on Riyadh Airport, which resulted in 13 deaths and hundreds of injuries. The escalation continues as the Houthis maintain control over large areas in Yemen and impose a naval blockade on Saudi ports in the Red Sea.
