Education Ministry updates school start time
Starting from November 1, 2026, the Ministry of Education in Jordan has begun implementing new school schedules. The morning assembly for all schools will now start at 7:45 AM. For single-shift schools, the first period will commence at 8:00 AM and last for 45 minutes, with the five-minute break between classes eliminated. In double-shift schools, the morning session begins at 8:00 AM, while the afternoon session starts at 12:45 PM, with each period lasting 35 minutes. These changes aim to organize and structure the school timetable more effectively.
