Dr. Ma’an al-Qallab’s book, *The High Headquarters (the Hashemite Royal Court) and Its Role in Jordanian Public Life (1921–1951)*, was launched at the Department of the National Library in the presence of intellectual, political, and cultural figures. The 313-page book, comprising three chapters and 15 appendices, documents the institution’s development and its roles in governance, administration, and foreign relations, drawing on Jordanian and British documents and sources. Speakers noted that the Royal Court’s budget began at 180,000 dinars, and that the “High Headquarters” went beyond handling correspondence to serve as a link between the leadership and the emerging institutions of the state.
