The Public Security Directorate urged citizens to exercise caution on Friday and Saturday, as a relatively cold air mass is expected to affect the Kingdom, bringing scattered rain to the north and center of the country and parts of the southwest. Rain may be heavy at times and accompanied by thunder. The Directorate advised people to stay away from valleys and flood channels, drive carefully, reduce their speed and leave a safe distance between vehicles, and watch out for fog and dust. It also recommended using heating devices safely and ensuring adequate ventilation. The Directorate said its personnel were ready to respond to emergencies and urged anyone in need of assistance to call the unified emergency number, 911.
