Jordan’s Public Security Directorate urged citizens to exercise caution on Friday and Saturday, as a relatively cold air mass is expected to affect the kingdom, bringing rain that may be heavy and accompanied by thunderstorms in some areas. Fog is also expected to form, and dust may reduce visibility. The directorate advised people to stay away from valleys and flood channels, reduce their speed and leave a safe following distance, and use heating devices safely. It said its personnel were ready to respond to emergencies and urged anyone in need to call 911.
