The Fuheis Youth Club has announced that it will suspend Christmas celebrations and public festivities this year, limiting observances to prayers and religious services inside churches, in solidarity with the people of Karak following the church incident and the martyrdom of a member of the Salayta clan. The club called on the city’s institutions and businesses to refrain from holding celebratory events, out of consideration for residents’ feelings and in recognition of the grief and national solidarity.
