The father of the martyred Corporal Jawad al-Salayta praised the support shown by Speaker of the House of Representatives Ibrahim al-Tarawneh and members of the House’s Permanent Bureau. He said they offered their condolences to the family and that al-Tarawneh was the first official to visit the family’s mourning house on Thursday. Al-Salayta’s funeral procession took place on Friday, attended by Deputy King Prince Faisal bin Al Hussein, after he was killed in a terrorist act while performing his duty in Amman.
