Prayers for al-Salayta
The Council of Church Leaders in Jordan announced that prayers and Masses would be held in churches across the Kingdom on Sunday in honor of Jawad al-Slayta, who died in the line of duty, and in recognition of his sacrifices. It called for church bells to be rung at noon as an expression of national and humanitarian solidarity, and for prayers for the repose of his soul and comfort for his family.
