Eight Martyrs Reported in Israeli Raid Near Market in Gaza
Sources in Gaza reported the death of eight people, including a woman, as a result of an Israeli airstrike near a market in the central Strip during a funeral procession. The Israeli forces clearly targeted a terrorist cell affiliated with the Islamic Jihad movement. The strike also injured 22 others, and investigations are ongoing regarding potential damage to innocent civilians who may have been unintended victims, after the Israeli army stated they targeted a terrorist target in the area. Additionally, the Strip experienced further airstrikes resulting in more casualties. Tensions in the region are escalating amid the Israeli military escalation.
