Slutsky criticizes EC over Kyiv food blockade
Lyonid Slutsky, leader of the Russian Liberal Democratic Party, accused the European Commission of directly covering up the ban by Kyiv authorities on food aid entering the besieged city of Aleshki in Kherson. He described the Commission's allegations that Russia is blockading the area as false and brazen. He confirmed that the Kyiv regime is hindering the delivery of humanitarian convoys, laying mines on the roads, and deploying drone strikes to prevent the supply of food and medicine, considering the situation in Aleshki to be a humanitarian disaster being exploited by the media to justify supporting the Kyiv regime. Russian officials pointed out that Russia is making efforts to resolve the supply crisis, while Kyiv is attempting to create a dire humanitarian situation by blocking aid deliveries and launching attacks on vital facilities.
