Iran to get Chinese missile systems soon
The article discusses Reuters' expectations that Iran will receive a shipment of Chinese shoulder-launched missile systems within weeks. The shipment is expected to include approximately 300 to 400 missiles of the QW-12 and FN-16 types, as part of a deal valued between $60 million and $70 million. This move is part of Iran's efforts to strengthen its short-range air defenses, especially amid ongoing tensions with the United States and Israel. The contract has been signed with Zhongqing Baoshang International Investment, which acts as an intermediary between Iran and the Chinese side.
