tayyar.org - Worries about Israeli escalation
The article discusses concerns about a new escalation between Israel and Lebanon, with sources indicating that the Israeli military does not intend to fully withdraw from Lebanon but will remain along the Blue Line while continuing ground military operations. It highlights fears that the war could escalate further into Lebanon, especially given the differences between Washington and Tel Aviv regarding Iran, which could lead to ongoing military tensions. The situation is further complicated by regional developments, including Israeli strikes in southern Lebanon and on target sites such as schools, reports of nitrates in Hula, and the presence of cranes inside Lebanon. There is also an increase in mutual accusations and rising tensions between regional and international actors.
