Collegium exam fee payment method
The Lebanese Ministry of Education and Higher Education, in cooperation with the Ministry of Administrative Development, has launched an electronic payment system for college examination fees. This initiative aims to improve operational management, promote digital transformation, and enhance transparency. This step is part of ongoing efforts to modernize public administration, now allowing students to pay fees online using credit cards. Approximately 3,000 students, including about 20% of those studying abroad, benefit from this system annually. It is expected that this experience will pave the way for expanding electronic payments to private universities in the future, making it easier to organize and license academic programs while reducing paperwork. This aligns with the government's strategy to strengthen digital governance.
