Egyptian Family Court decision on Beomy Foad
The Family Court in Egypt issued a ruling ordering artist Bayoumi Fouad to pay his ex-wife the owed financial dues, including the waiting period (iddah), alimony, and the delayed dowry (mahr). This came in a lawsuit filed against him concerning financial and family rights. The court also obliged the artist to cover the child's school expenses, housing rent and custody costs, as well as the child's personal expenses and expenses for furnishings and bedding. Additionally, the court conducted investigations into Fouad's sources of income and assets to assess his ability to fulfill his financial obligations. This ruling is a continuation of previous decisions issued in favor of the artist's ex-wife and highlights ongoing legal disputes regarding financial rights between the two parties.
