Flydubai pilots' altercation diverts flight to Saudi Arabia
The article aimed to clarify the details of an incident involving a Fly Dubai aircraft during its flight from Dubai to Tel Aviv. The plane changed course and made an emergency landing at Tabuk Airport in Saudi Arabia after emergency codes were activated due to an altercation between the pilots onboard. Initial investigations indicated that the cause of the incident was a dispute between the pilots, not a hijacking attempt, despite the aircraft emitting emergency signals indicating a general emergency and a hijacking attempt. This led to a state of alert in Israel, with the Israeli Air Force put on standby and airport operations halted. However, officials stated that the situation is now under control and that the passengers are safe.
