Saudi Interior Ministry on Fly Dubai emergency landing
The Saudi Ministry of Interior confirmed that the Kingdom responded swiftly and responsibly to the emergency landing of the Fly Dubai aircraft at Tabuk Airport. Investigations revealed a altercation between the pilot and co-pilot, which resulted in their injuries. The response was handled in accordance with international and humanitarian commitments to ensure aviation safety and passenger security. Initially, Saudi authorities refused to allow the plane to land and requested approval from Jordan before eventual acceptance of the landing in Tabuk. After their health improved, the Saudi crew departed for Abu Dhabi accompanied by an Emirati security team, with Saudi Arabia reaffirming its readiness to respond rapidly to any emergencies.
