NYT: Iran conducts 30 drone and 10 missile strikes weekly since August
The New York Times reported, citing a Western security official, that Iran has carried out an average of 30 drone attacks and 10 anti-ship missile strikes weekly since early August. Most of these attacks have targeted commercial vessels navigating the Strait of Hormuz. Recently, Iran has targeted at least four ships over the span of ten days, and data indicates that a significant portion of its regional exports bypass the Strait of Hormuz. This Iranian escalation comes amid rising regional tensions and poses a threat to maritime safety and international trade.
