Today's articles focused on Lebanon's security situation and bilateral relations with Jordan, as well as support for the agricultural sector and food security. The political and military meetings at Baabda Palace covered security developments in the south and included the reception of the Jordanian Minister of Tourism, who briefed President Aoun on Jordan’s celebrations marking 2,000 years since the baptism of Jesus Christ under the slogan "Jordan, the Dawn of Christianity," with a desire to establish tourism and religious partnerships between the two countries. President Aoun reiterated Jordan’s role in supporting Lebanon and emphasized the importance of coordination across various fields, particularly in cultural, tourism, and religious cooperation. Regarding Lebanese issues, Aoun stressed the need to support affected regions, especially the south, and to improve the agricultural sector through technology and innovation. He called for practical projects that could be financed and implemented to enhance food security and agricultural development, with support from the Food and Agriculture Organization. The meetings also discussed regional and international issues, including the framework agreement with Israel, and the Lebanese President extended his congratulations to his Cypriot counterpart on his national day.
