Doctors Without Borders: Lebanon's War Continues
Lebanon, especially in the south, continues to face ongoing psychological repercussions of the war despite the announcement of a ceasefire. This is due to the ongoing Israeli attacks, destruction, and displacement. Médecins Sans Frontières (Doctors Without Borders) reports that fear and psychological disturbances are worsening among the population, many of whom are unable to reach clinics because of continuous shelling and infrastructure destruction. The organization is providing remote psychological support services to maintain continuity of care under difficult conditions, as concerns grow over a possible escalation in attacks and their impact on the mental health of the residents.
