The Yemeni Armed Forces reported that they conducted 15 airstrikes on Houthi targets in Taiz Province and shot down a Saudi reconnaissance drone in the area. They confirmed that the strikes targeted Houthi gatherings and achieved successes in gaining control over sites in Al-Waziyah and Al-Midharib districts in Lahij. In response, Saudi Arabia carried out multiple airstrikes across several Yemeni provinces, with Saudi aircraft carrying out 47 strikes on civilian sites in three provinces within 24 hours.
