Iranian airlines to operate 40 daily flights at Najaf Ashraf Airport
Despite the ongoing crises in the region, the Iraqi government announced an agreement allowing for 40 daily flights to and from Najaf Al-Ashraf Airport for Iranian airlines, excluding Mahan Airlines. This move aims to facilitate the movement of travelers and visitors, strengthening human connections, cultural exchange, and ties with other peoples. It comes as part of the government’s efforts to ease transportation and reduce obstacles for pilgrims, patients, and families. The announcement underscores that air travel is not merely a means of transportation but a bridge for communication between peoples. The government will continue to monitor the situation to ensure the interests of travelers are protected and to promote international cooperation.
