US troops sent to Middle East
The United States military transported approximately 9,000 soldiers aboard ships to the Middle East in October, as a reinforcement of its military presence in the region amid warnings of a potential Iranian attack against American and Israeli targets. This comes as the United States intensifies its naval forces, which could number over 20,000 personnel, including three aircraft carriers and a fleet of attack and operational ships. Meanwhile, President Trump has warned of a strong response if Iran's involvement in attacks against the United States or its allies is confirmed.
