Nabatieh government brigades renamed
To commemorate the martyrs of the General Directorate of State Security who sacrificed their lives during the Israeli aggression on Nabatieh on April 10, 2026, the Nabatieh Brigades were named "Martyrs of State Security Brigades" in honor of their sacrifices. Prime Minister Nohad Mashnouk attended the memorial ceremony, which was held in the presence of security leaders and the families of the martyrs. The Directorate emphasized that this designation is a tribute to those who gave their lives for the homeland and a way to preserve their memory in the record of the institution and the nation.
