Can the state fund south reconstruction
The article focused on the efforts of the Lebanese government, led by Prime Minister Nohad Machnouk, to rebuild and strengthen the state's presence in the Nabatieh region in southern Lebanon, especially after the war and Israeli occupation. This was achieved through field visits, development projects, and administrative initiatives. Emphasis was placed on opening security centers, renovating official institutions, and implementing tenders related to infrastructure and healthcare services, all aimed at enhancing security and stability in the area and supporting the return of displaced residents. The article also highlighted significant financial challenges, noting that the available funding is insufficient to carry out all the projects. It emphasized that the success of these initiatives depends on turning promises into tangible results on the ground, in order to facilitate the return of residents and improve service levels.
