Ministry begins work on new Tirefalsi water crossing
The Ministry of Public Works and Transport, in cooperation with the Litani Authority, has completed the construction of a temporary water crossing in the Tair Flessieh area to provide an alternative route for the damaged bridge that was destroyed during the recent Israeli airstrikes. This solution aims to facilitate traffic flow and the transport of agricultural products between Sidon, Zahrani, and the Sidon District, especially while awaiting the rehabilitation of the permanent bridge. This step is part of efforts to restore mobility after the bridge's destruction, while ensuring the protection of the Litani River's course and related facilities. Technical teams are overseeing the implementation to ensure compliance with technical and hydraulic standards.
