Five small quakes hit southern Turkey
The departments of southern Turkey, northern Syria, and western regions reported a total of five light earthquakes on Sunday, with no damages or injuries. These tremors occurred in areas near the epicenters of two powerful earthquakes in February 2023, which resulted in the death of over 53,000 people in Turkey and six thousand in Syria. Turkey, situated on active tectonic plates, is frequently subjected to earthquakes as a result.
