Lebanese-American contacts aim to confirm military meeting date
Lebanese sources confirmed that contacts are ongoing between Lebanon and the United States to set a date for a military meeting during which discussions will take place regarding the establishment of a mechanism to verify the deployment of the Lebanese Army in the trial area, a ceasefire, and the release of Lebanese prisoners held by Israel. The goal of the wall is to move the negotiations out of the current stalemate, amid anticipation of the Israeli elections' results, amidst rising internal tensions and the need to maintain Lebanon's resilience in facing security and political challenges.
