Vans: No clear link to Iran in Flydubai incident
The article discusses the incident involving a Fly Dubai aircraft that was on a flight from Dubai to Tel Aviv. The co-pilot, Hmam Al-Hahami, attacked the pilot in an attempt to crash the plane using an emergency axe. The efforts resulted in an emergency landing in Tabuk, Saudi Arabia, and passengers and crew were able to overpower the attacker. Investigations revealed that Al-Hahami, 29 years old, had planned the attack before joining the airline, as he had visited extremist websites. He was charged during investigations with attempting to carry out a terrorist attack.
