Al-Jamil Calls for Lebanese Sovereignty and Iran Closure
The leader of the Lebanese Forces, Samy Gemayel, affirmed that Lebanon is facing a historic opportunity to build an independent and sovereign state. He emphasized that the government must move from making initial decisions to actual implementation. Gemayel called on the state to free itself from Iranian tutelage, stressing that Lebanon is no longer solely the responsibility of Hezbollah. He pointed out that the solution lies in the state's proactive steps to protect its independence and liberate the Lebanese people from Iranian influence, especially in light of the deteriorating situation after years of war. The focus should be on rebuilding the economy, restoring security, and developing the country.
