Trump views city targeting as minor risk
The article discusses former US President Donald Trump's statements regarding the possibility of Iran targeting American cities such as Los Angeles and San Diego. He considered that the cost of destroying these two cities would be "a small price" to achieve victory, and called on Americans to accept civilian casualties in the war. He noted that Iran possesses a large stockpile of new weapons, despite its inability to strike the United States with long-range missiles that can reach approximately 9,000 kilometers. The article also revealed a secret meeting of top national security officials with Trump to discuss the future of the Iran war, amid increasing tensions and potential military actions. This comes amidst Saudi pressure to participate in an attack against the Houthis, and the possibility of resuming operations against Iran based on Trump's threats.
