Houthi Announce Drone Downing in Al-Jawf
The Houthi movement "Ansar Allah" (the Houthis) in Yemen announced that they have downed a powered reconnaissance drone of the "CH-4" type belonging to Saudi Arabia in the skies of Al-Jawf Governorate, while it was carrying out hostile missions, using appropriate weaponry. Houthi military spokesperson Major Yahya Saree confirmed that the drone, which was executing operations against the movement's forces, was targeted. He indicated that the operation is part of the defense and in response to ongoing Saudi attacks on Yemeni areas. He also mentioned that the movement intercepted Saudi attempts to advance east of Al-Jawf and destroyed armored vehicles and military reinforcements in the area. Several Saudi sites in Yemen have been targeted with airstrikes and attacks in recent hours, resulting in the destruction of military targets and strengthening the response to Saudi escalation in the region.
