French PM addresses student protests
The office of French Prime Minister Sébastien Lecornu announced that he will deliver a speech this evening regarding the student protests currently taking place in France, as well as other issues including the overall financial situation. The speech will focus on the situation in schools, fuel prices, and the agricultural crisis. These protests come after tens of thousands of students and protesters took to the streets demanding improvements in school conditions, prompting President Macron to hold an urgent meeting with the government. The protests are among the most significant displays of tension in the country recently, with more than 215 students injured during the demonstrations, while protesters insist on continuing the escalation.
