Riyadh reports strong explosions
The attack carried out by the Yemeni Houthis on Saudi airports, especially King Khalid Airport in Riyadh, resulted in powerful explosions that shook the capital. These attacks come as part of an ongoing military escalation over the past few weeks. The Houthis claimed responsibility for targeting the airport with a ballistic missile, while Saudi Arabia reported the death of 3 people and injuries to 36 others due to attacks on Abha and King Khalid airports in recent days. Meanwhile, fighting in Yemen has escalated, leading to the displacement of over 200,000 people. Saudi Arabia has been participating in the Yemen military operations by intensifying airstrikes, especially after the Houthis took control of the western coast and the strategic entrance to the Bab al-Mandeb Strait, which heightens tensions and threatens regional oil exports.
