Al-Raji Seizes Illicit Tobacco in Beirut
The Lebanese Tobacco and Tobacconist Authority, known as "Regie," confiscated quantities of smuggled electronic cigarettes, counterfeit flavored tobacco, and contraband products following raids carried out in the Beirut and Southern Suburbs areas. These operations aim to combat smuggling and forgery in tobacco products. Detention reports have been filed against the violators, and these cases are currently being reviewed by the relevant judicial authorities. These measures are part of "Regie's" ongoing efforts to maintain market integrity and put an end to smuggling activities.
